Commonly asked questions
Where Does the Fat Go? The Ultrasonic Cavitation procedure is based on a natural fat clearance process where triglycerides and cell debris from the immediately destroyed fat cells are processed by the body's natural physiological and metabolic pathways. These pathways are the same that handle fat during weight loss. Ultrasonic Cavitation peer-reviewed published multi-center controlled clinical trial and other independent clinical studies show that the released triglycerides do not accumulate to a clinically significant extent in the blood or liver. Who is it for? The treatment has been designed to help average to overweight men and women acquire an improved body shape and contour. It offers a non-surgical alternative to patients seeking effective reduction of localized fat deposits without surgery. What body areas are treated? The treatment focuses on most areas of the body including the abdomen, inner and outer thighs, hips, knees, back etc. What results can I expect? Clinical results show that in three treatments, patients see an average of 6 cm reduction in circumference. A 4 - 10 treatment regimen may be recommended to achieve maximum results. As with any non-invasive procedure the results you see may differ from the clinical trial results and patient to patient. What does the procedure feel like? Clients usually feel light-to-moderate tingling or warmth in the treated area. It is a relaxing treatment feeling similar to massage. What happens after treatment? There is no downtime or recovery time associated with the Ultrasonic Cavitation. It is recommended you have a brisk walk, or jog, vibra train or lymphatic drainage massage immediately after treatment. Drinking 1.5 litres of water soon after treatment will help the kidneys flush the body of toxins and fat. You should maintain a healthy diet and routine exercise to maximize results. How long will it take to see results? It will take the contents of the broken-down fat cells to be cleared by the body over a 7 day period. Circumference and fat thickness reduction is usually seen within the first 7 - 28 days post treatment. How does the Ultrasonic Cavitation technology work? The Ultrasonic Cavitation technology uses a handheld ultrasonic transducer to deliver controlled ultrasound at a precise depth within the fat layer. The technology is selective, meaning that only fat cells are broken down and surrounding important structures such as blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue remain intact. The treatment area is marked and each point within that designated area is treated only once to ensure complete and uniform treatment. What happens to the fat after the treatment? During the treatment, the fat cells are ruptured. The fat cell content, primarily comprised of triglycerides, is broken down and transported to the liver. The fat is processed via the body's natural mechanisms and is available to be turned into building blocks for energy. Whatever is unused will be excreted from the body. Are there any side effects? Extensive clinical trials and over 200,000 patient treatments performed worldwide have demonstrated the excellent safety profile of the Ultrasonic Cavitation procedure. 1-2 days following a treatment there is a change in the colour of your bowel movements that may last for up to 3 weeks. This is completely normal. How long will the results last? Just as with liposuction, once fat cells are removed from the treatment area the results are expected to be long lasting, as long as you maintain your weight with a healthy diet and exercise. How does the Ultrasonic Cavitation treatment differ from other non- invasive body contouring treatments, which are based on lymphatic massage or radio- frequency technologies? The Ultrasonic Cavitation treatment uses focused ultrasound waves which selectively target fat cells in the underlying fat layers. This is different from other non-invasive body contouring treatments, which may only enhance the lymphatic system activity to increase lymphatic drainage. Those treatments may only temporarily reduce the volume of the fat cells, not destroy and reduce the number of fat cells therefore the results are temporary and maintenance treatments are required. Ultrasonic Cavitation destroys the fat cells in the focal area and increases blood circulation and lymphatic system activity to expedite the clearance of the liquefied fat. The results are long lasting. How does the Cavi Lipo procedure differ from other non-invasive ultrasound treatments for body contouring? Cavi Lipo uses pulsed focused ultrasound energy which selectively targets and destroys fat cells. Other ultrasound technology uses non-focused standard ultrasound which cannot break down fat cells.. Cavi Lipo is the only system in the world to use a unique real-time tracking and guidance system for 3D mapping of the body’s curvature to ensure complete and uniform energy delivery over the entire treatment area, minimizing the risk of contour irregularities, a common side effect of liposuction. Unlike many other non-invasive treatments Cavi Lipo is scientifically and clinically proven safe and effective.

Body sculpting is one of the safest approaches to getting rid of excess body fat. It is the most admirable way to tone up. It is the perfect solution for the one who wants to reshape his body with incredible ease. One can get rid of stubborn body fat with body sculpting, but can't cure obesity. The result of body sculpting comes without a systematic workout regimen and any alternation in the diet. It is a great way to take care of different areas of the body. You need to consult a body sculpting clinician to ensure that body sculpting is the right choice for you.
